Next Concert- Saturday, 20th April 2024

For our next concert we'll be singing Joseph Haydn's joyous "Creation", a particularly appropriate piece for a Spring performance.  See further details below this poster and watch this video of our musical director discusssing the concert here:

Haydn's “Creation” is said by many to be the pinnacle of his musical achievements.  In particular, the opening movement uses ground-breaking clashing harmonies to represent chaos, which are then resolved into affirmative melodies celebrating the Creation.

 

The choir will be accompanied by the Sussex Classical Players.  The concert features three soloists from the Royal Academy of Music.  Michael Stefan Wood BEM, our Musical Director and Conductor, is the highly engaging MC for this event.

 

Refreshments available during the interval. 

 

Ticket prices: £15 in advance, £16 on the door,  students and under-18s £5

The venue is a short taxi ride or 20 minute walk from Burgess Hill main line railway station (or 10 minutes walk from Wivelsfield Station).  Car parking is available on nearby streets.  The venue has disabled access.
